Jet ski near Playa Blanca: a guided safari half an hour away
We do not leave from Playa Blanca. Our guided jet ski safari leaves from Pontoon J at Puerto Calero marina, about half an hour by car along the LZ-2. We tell you up front so there are no surprises when you arrive.
Why make the drive
The route runs along the south coast of the island, towards Papagayo. Every trip is guided by an instructor at the front, in a small group, so no licence and no previous experience are needed. Puerto Calero is a marina, not a beach: a sheltered departure, a pontoon with direct access and parking a few steps away.
How to get here
- By car or taxi: around 30 minutes from Playa Blanca along the LZ-2, heading towards Arrecife and turning off for Puerto Calero. The marina has parking.
- Meeting point: Pontoon J, inside the marina. Your confirmation email says what time to be at the pontoon.

Who can ride
Drivers must be over 18; riders aged 16 to 18 can drive with signed consent from a parent or guardian. Passengers can ride on a double jet ski from age 5.
Making a morning of it
Puerto Calero has restaurants, cafés and a promenade around the marina, so anyone not riding has somewhere to wait. The 60-minute trip is the one that covers the most coastline; if it is your first time, the 40-minute trip is a good middle ground.
Booking and weather
Book online with the real availability of each departure; in high season, 48 hours ahead is best. To ride within the next three hours, call us. If the sea does not allow the trip, it moves to another day at no cost or is refunded in full.
